Mommys hospital visit :-(
It was Thursday and mommy and daddy were going to go to the doctor like they do every Thursday. Momma D came to stay with me. When they were at the doctor mommy got "checked" whatever that means, and the doctor told her she was a 2. They also did a little test to see if her water broke and it came back positive. So they sent her and daddy to the hospital. They had no idea that anything was going on. They had no bags or anything. They went to the hospital and they checked it. Mommy's contractions were three minutes apart. Mommy said she did not even know she was having contractions. I would think she would know what was going on because she did have me but who knows. They gave her fluid to see it the contractions would stop. After a bag of fluid they did not. They gave her a shot in the butt to help the babies lungs. She ended up with a total of three butt shots this weekend. She is so bruised up. They then gave her a shot in the butt called Demerol and it made mom drugged up. She could not even talk to Daddy because she said his face was swirling around. After another hour that stuff did not help. So they pulled out the big guns and gave her magnesium. That stuff made mom feel really bad. She was throwing up and really sick, but it did stop them. Since she was on the hard stuff they had to come take her blood every seven hours. She has a big bruise on her arm from all the times they took her blood. Mom was in the hospital on that stuff all weekend. I got to stay with Momma D on Friday night and Grammie on Saturday night. I had so much fun playing with them. I even got to see Uncle Dan!! Mom says that she is on bed rest. She cant even play with me. I am so sad. She can only get up to shower and pee. She has to take lots of pills to keep the babies in her belly longer. I hope that the babies are ok. I don't like mommy sick and I hate that she can't play with me. I know that mom is sad that she can't play with me. I bet she even cried. Well, I will keep you up to date on mom and dad and the babies. Please leave comments. I am so sorry about your mommy being sick and at the hospital all weekend. My mommy said that I get to come play with you really soon. I have prayed every night for the babies and your mommy. So dont worry Jaxon they are going to be just fine, Jesus told me so! I can't wait to come play with you, my mommy said that we might even bring you cookies...shhhh told tell anyone!! I will have my mommy call your mommy soon, since I cant seem to get the phone to call you myself! ~Kinsey
ReplyDeleteHey, Jaxon....you don't know me but I am a friend of your mommy's. I had twins myself back in April. I had to go into the hospital for a night, too, in order to stop the contractions that I didn't know I was having. I had dilated to a 6 and was having contractions on top of each other and didn't know it. I wore a terbutaline pump (like an insulin pump) to stop them! I promise you it is all worth this when your precious brother and sister arrive! Please know that the longer they stay in mommy's tummy the better it will be for everyone! Help keep mommy happy and still so that you have the most perfect playmates! Your mommy is very special to me and if she needs anything or anyone to talk to or ask questions, tell her to let me know! Kim, So sorry that you are going through this! I hope you dont get to stir crazy being on bedrest. I know it is hard on you and Jaxson. Lots of prayers for you and the whole family!!! Keep us posted!
